AMD Ryzen 2 Could Launch in March 2018 | The Friday Geek

Rumor says it could launch this March 2018, the Ryzen 2 Processors is expected as well to support the new 400-chipset while banking on that 12nm process. It is expected to be built on the same AM4 socket package and expected as well by Ryzen 1 owners to work with their existing 300-series motherboards via BIOS updates from manufacturers.

Incoming as well are the several motherboard options from the manufacturers is set to introduce their own line up when the X470 and B450 chipset debuts alongside with Ryzen 2000 series processors .

For existing Ryzen users who wants to save a few pesos, a BIOS update will do the trick if they want to finally try that Ryzen 2000  series of processors. But for new builders, the new 400 series chipset is highly recommended as it brings new and expanded list of features.
